Study Bridge International is looking for a knowledgeable, confident, and detail-oriented Visa Counsellor to guide students through the visa application process for overseas education. The ideal candidate will assist students with documentation, application procedures, interview preparation, and visa-related requirements while ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
Requirements
Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
1–3 years of experience in student visa counselling, overseas education, or immigration services is preferred.
Good knowledge of student visa processes for destinations such as Canada, UK, Australia, USA, and New Zealand.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong documentation and attention-to-detail skills.
Good counselling, problem-solving, and follow-up abilities.
Ability to explain complex visa requirements in a simple and clear manner.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple applications.
Target-oriented and professional approach.
Freshers with excellent communication skills and relevant knowledge may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students regarding student visa requirements and application procedures.
Understand students’ academic profiles and provide appropriate visa guidance.
Explain visa requirements, documentation, application procedures, and timelines clearly.
Check and verify student documents for accuracy and completeness.
Assist students in preparing and submitting visa applications.
Guide students regarding financial documents, SOPs, study plans, and supporting documents as applicable.
Prepare students for visa interviews and provide interview guidance and mock sessions.
Coordinate with students, counsellors, admission teams, and relevant partners throughout the visa process.
Track visa applications and maintain accurate records of application status.
Follow up with students regarding pending documents and application requirements.
Stay updated on changes in student visa policies, immigration requirements, and embassy procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling student documents and personal information.
Handle student and parent queries professionally and resolve visa-related concerns where possible.
