Renewable Energy Engineer

A Renewable Energy Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, and implementing renewable energy systems and projects. The role focuses on improving energy efficiency, optimizing system performance, and supporting the transition toward sustainable and low-carbon energy solutions.

• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and energy systems.
• Knowledge of solar PV, wind energy, energy storage, and energy-efficiency principles.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations, technical analysis, and energy modeling.
• Familiarity with engineering design and simulation software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management abilities.

• Design and develop renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, battery storage, and hybrid energy systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, resource evaluations, and energy-yield analyses.
• Develop technical designs, engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Perform energy, electrical, and system-performance calculations.
• Select appropriate equipment and technologies based on technical and economic requirements.
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of renewable energy systems.
• Analyze system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and energy production.
• Conduct energy audits and recommend energy-saving and sustainability measures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable technical standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, proposals, project schedules, and progress reports.
• Support research and evaluation of emerging renewable energy technologies.
• Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of renewable energy assets.
• Contribute to carbon-reduction, sustainability, and clean-energy initiatives.
