Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. The candidate will handle invoices, payments, receipts, bank transactions, reconciliations, and financial documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable accounting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of Tally/ERP/accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and taxation procedures.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to maintain organized financial records.
  • Good time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
  • Record receipts, payments, expenses, and other accounting entries.
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
  • Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
  • Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents before processing payments.
  • Track outstanding customer payments and vendor balances.
  • Follow up with customers regarding pending payments when required.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding invoices and payments.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
  • Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor cash transactions and maintain petty cash records.
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and cost monitoring.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and senior management when required.
  • Ensure timely filing and organization of accounting documents.
  • Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving them.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
  • Ensure accounting activities are performed according to company policies and applicable regulations.
